Amazing and Free

Works exactly as described. Best of all, the Server software you run on your Mac is NOT an installer that puts who knows what (and where) on the system. Instead, it's simply an application that runs (visible in the Dock) and does not need a reatart to get going. Really an awesome app.The keyboard option is great, although I wish it offered the command key. Two finger scrolling is great. Lots of customizing available via the options.Thanks for the great app!

It worked perfectly, but once I pressed the keyboard button the security notice popped up. Something about the connection not being encrypted or something like that. I clicked "I understand." but the keyboard just closed. I tried again and the same security warning popped up again. I clicked "I understand." again. Same thing. So I guess that means I can't use the keyboard. Did anyone else's do this?

This app is totally amazing and gives me control of my computer!! GET IT NOW!

Get this app you must do it, it would also make an amazing prank because when people are on the computer you can move the mouse around. But before you say that it doesnt work go to the intructions in the description, and go to the website. It is amazing I can do everything on my itouch not even be near the computer. This is a must get!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But read the intructions in the description because I forgot to and it didnt work. Get this app

I personally like this application a lot, but there are some flaws:
1) I often at times have to continue up to 5 or 6 times to drag my finger from one side of the screen to the other to get it where I want (the accelerometer doesn't work, it just makes me have to move it back and forth that many times)
2) It needs to be able to remember the IP adresses you put in it (and be able to name them for your remembrance) so it is easier for everyone to be able to add more computers to be able to run this on multiple computers (I personally have 3 computers and I have to add the IP address into it every time I switch computers).
But hey, it's free, so what can ya say?

I don't know why this has less than 4 stars. It works very well and has lots of options that pay versions of mouse apps lack. I can only surmise that the people that are complaining didn't follow instructions. I installed the app on my laptop, started it, then the iPhone app saw my computer, I clicked the name, and bam, worked perfectly. It performs like you would expect a laptop trackpad to. It even has two-finger scrolling. My only complaints are that buttons are a _tad_ large, resulting in a smaller mousing area in landscape mode, but increasing mouse sensitivity makes up for it. I'm surprised an app this good an feature rich is free. Props to the dev. One thing to note: If you and your computer are a moderate distance away from your wireless router, or your computer is busy with lots of apps, ANY wifi remote app will experiance input lag. That is not the fault of this app.

It's an incredible app with flawless execution. Anyone who likes a trackpad will be amazed at how similar and easy to use this is. I find it most efficient holding the iPhone/iPod like a remote and using my thumb for simple mouse work. The one thing I would add is a full keyboard, with Cmnd/Opt/Ctrl or Win/Alt/Ctrl based on which OS you're connected to. That would make this app able to replace the mouse and keyboard completely.

This app is great for function and more. it has right click center left click and a key board. Great for me because i can now set it my bed with my pc connected to the tv. also sneak on your pals pc install the software and next time he is on the pc have a ball, i was draging the cursor in the total opst direction, opening programs and typing in the address bar and almost wet my self he never found out but almost threw his laptop at the wall in his house lmao!!!

This app is realy nice, I had no problem controlling my computer's mouse from this app. The computer's application for this app is very small (in which u have to download from your computer, less than 200 Kb, the download-link is given in info of this app.) It took me less than 10 sec to make this app work with my computer's mouse.. I hope this app would have an update for more advance features. = )

this program works amazingly well. Infact it is so smooth and lag free that I'm actually writing this review without touching my computer. It is almost as good as a mouse even. my one and only disappointment is the lack of quick adjustment on mouse speed, it takes a few swipes to get across my 1440x900 desktop, but that is minor overall and there is a setting in the setup menu to increase it at the cost of accuracy. Great application!

it does work make sure you have the software on your pc that you do need or this will never work. read the info to the right of the app page in itunes there is a download link, it works fine then.
to the people (nerds) complaing about people giving unfair ratings because they cant get it to work stop acting like a geek! and leave some helpfull comments...not everyone is a computer nerd! this is a new thing to some people still. no one thinks your kool or clever just because it works for you and not evryone is a geek who spends their life at at pc.

I use this all the time for entertainment and presentations, and I've never had a problem. I would like to see a keyboard in the future. (N.B. it now has a great keyboard!)
i am blown away by how sophisticated this app is for a free product. now that it can run in the system tray it's even better!
Tip for users: once you enter the ip adress and port number, you don't need to do it again even if your computer requests a different ip.

The first app that I am bothering to write a review for. Once you've downloaded the server application onto your pc and have set the IP address on your iPhone, this app is practically faultless. The way that it enables finger gestures, like pinch to zoom & two finger scrolling is simply genius, (something that my Dell trackpad does not support). You'll also find many customizable options. The only thing that this will cost you is 10 min downloading & setting it up. Top marks!

For all u having problems this app is very easy to use just download the thingy from the website then open it and it tells you what your ip and port is and then type it I as you see it This is a great app very fun to use only problem is I wish there was a keyboard to use I found that very irritating otherwise great app no lagg Oh and don't give this a bad review just cuz you too stupid to figure out how to use it

It's hard to believe that this is free considering how easy it is to set up and use. The best part of this app is the confit options. You can change the tracking and scrolling speed, keep it from going into sleep mode, and plenty of other options. Btw, the default settings are configured so that you have to us the buttons to click, as opposed to tapping on the screen. This can easily be changed via setup options. Worth every star.

I don't write many app reviews because I'm typically underwhelmed by most of them, but this has to be one of the best apps - paid or free - I've downloaded. I use it for my Windows-based laptop that I keep in my living room and it is just what I needed. I Ieave my laptop on its little table and stick my iPhone on my sofa's arm and control it without needing to balance the laptop on my lap. I love the ability to customize the touchpad, especially since the touchpad on my laptop leaves much to be desired. The customization feature combined with iPhone's touch screen sensitivity make this an amazing remote mouse. I can't say enough and can't believe it's free.

I'm a Software Engineer whose really REALLY perinoid when it comes to applications that take control of the mouse and/or keyboard. The person who created this app, did it increadibly! First it's open source so pansies like me can check under the hood & make certain I can't get hurt. When I checked the code I noticed an eligant work of art very clearly written. Very innovative and customizable.I highly recommend it!

This is a really great app. It works fine without any lag (on my mac). all the features are useful to! This is also good to use when im charging my ipod.
Direction
1.Click on link on the page that says tenjin.org(on the computer)
2.Click on downloads and choose the one that wil work.(for mac 10.5 is for newest version other one is for older ones)
3.open app on ipod/iphone
4. open app on computer
5.Click on your computer name on ipod. Enjoy :)

This is probably the best free app I've ever installed. The installation on my PC (XP for those of you complaining about it not working on Windows) was extremely quick, and it works like a charm, not to mention it's free. Just one little suggestion: please increase the security, because I'm sometimes afraid to leave the program running on my computer (hackers and whatnot). Thanks for an amazing app! P.S. You CAN get rid of the desktop picture... Or at least hide it so nobody else can see (I can with Windows, at least).

I am so pleased with this FREE app.It works perfectly with NO delay.It even has a keyboard feature which I didn't realize until I setup the app.For people who are having trouble with This: try these trouble shooting tips:: make sure you install the remote pad server on your computer. (some people forget!!): If it still isn't working: turn of your computers firewall (this is why mine wasn't working): make sure your computer and ipod/iPhone wifi is workingOverall a  appGet it because it is free
