Alright I just got out of my math exam and I had this going the whole 2 hours no one had a god damn clue what it was but my teacher had to leave the room because he got such a big headach. Haha the funnyest thing ever I think some people failed and I watched three people get kicked out of the exam room because they were yelling "turn that off!" I recomend this to any one who has a teacher they hate good job who ever the he'll made this

A couple of friends and I went out for dinner this weekend, we were told there was a 30 minute wait for a table. We could see that a couple of tables had their dinner check and were just gabbing and gabbing. I was getting fed up until I remembered I had the grenade and turned it on. Two tables were up and out of there in a hurry after failing to find out where that noise was coming from. I don't think I've ever tried that hard to keep from laughing.

Im 11 and im a bit deaf so i carnt hear it but i want to go into school with it switched on but i dont want my ipod to be stolen so i wont. A better version of the app is stealth sound grenade cos if ur mate has this app hell know what it is but on the other app it still makes the same sound but on the screen it looks like ur doing times tables (all you have to do to activate it is double tap the x).

It does do exactly what it is supposed to; make a hideous noise. Would be a 5 star app if you could set it to go off at random intervals. Or using the timer screen, have it go of in x seconds for x duration, then repeat. Maybe even with how many times to repeat for. I can imagine having it in my pocket, having it go off, people looking for the sound, and then it suddenly stops. I shrug, go on with my business, but then it starts again! But having this on-off cycle limited to 3 or so cycles, so you don't have to fish out the phone to stop it, this giving you away.

Does it describe this app as being useful to play games with? Is it stated somewhere that this app is meant to give you great memories of joyeous frolicking? It's supposed to create a highly annoying and party stopping noise and that's just what it does!! It's free (for now) and it's funny to use it as the description suggests, to annoy people or get their attention. Use it in a restaurant, use it in church(don't worry gods not really listening) use it in your car to scare a friend who's not expecting it.. It's endless in usefulness as an annoying noise maker. Oh and iPhones do not have speakers, they have A SPEAKER. Single. UNO. If it blows it then you got a lemon of a phone and you shouldn't be downloading free apps that are designed to create an annoying noise. You annoying noise.

It's good and all, but you can't change the frequency... The dog whistle app is only .99$ and it allows you to change the frequency, and oscillation. Add those features and this will be a 5 star app. ••update•• They tried to sneak in ads, I like the new features but the ads ruined it, I would rather pay a dollar for this than deal with ads... Lowering to 3 stars from 4, I would still like to see a frequency changer

Ok this app is pretty intensley annoying but it is still fun. For all the people that think the manufacturers are gonna get sued.. it is not their responsibility on how people use it. If you blow your own eardrums out or someone elses YOU are going to get sued..not the manufacturer. The people who blew their speakers..get over it please you used at your own risk..anything operating at that high of a frequency has a chance of blowing speakers its basic knowledge.

I didn't understand this app at all at first as I am 47 and I can't hear it. I asked a mate about it in church tonight, switched it on and everyone who could hear it went bezerk!! I turned it off again until the first hymn and the place went mental, the lead singer had to stop the service, complained to the sound controller that she can hear bad feedback from some equipment. She started up again and everyone had to stop singing cox of the annoying sound. Had to turn it off eventually though as I felt really guilty as one of the youth was sick and had to leave the service. Will have to pray for forgiveness now. Am going to an auction in the morning, hopefully it will stop the bidders so I can get some cheap lots. Will let you know how I get on.

Get this app! You WILL find a great use for it, honestly.
1. My cat gets annoyed when i don't pay attention to it, & scratches my leather couch. sound grenade! she runs away.
2. I hate my cooky English teacher is exaggeratively talks to herself to emphasize points in lecture. This probably made her think she was *actually* going crazy hearing things..either way she stopped.
3. I !@#$ing hate it when i leave my Touch alone, out of my hands for 0.5 seconds & someone tries to pick it up. the Alarm function is great, set it, and if anyone touches it, boom. it alerts you & will probably deter them
because that person is probably too retarded to figure out that you need three fingers to turn it off.
it's a great distraction & headache inducer/ poops-&-giggle machine at others' expenses.

This app is awesome! it's so much fun if you use it in school. today I did it in class and my teacher went CRAZY. I did it a full volume and my teacher got so irritated she didn't know what it was. she let it go for a while then she started cussing. then she tried ignoring it and she couldn't. she got so annoyed that she called the main office and told them there was a gas leak. the janitors came in and I slowly turned it down then they're like "what are you talking about?" then they left and I turned it back up. This app has only one purpose...to give people a headache and annoy the hell out of them.

i have to say this app makes my friends pissed off.. lol and i love it. Just the other day i was at the mall and i turned it on and peolple were looking around to see what it was and i just put the headphones in my pocket and walked around and they didnt know where it was coming from. great app but could use a little more features. like different types of sounds, siren, baby crying but all with the same sound just different rythems. if that makes sence. like first its set to high then 2 seconds later it gets alittle softer...

Yeah, so got this and tried it on myself just to see what the deal is. Personally, it's like the highest pitch on a hearing test machine, but even on medium volume, it left my ears ringing. Not bad considering I'm 1/3 deaf from to many loud grundge shows (stfu, haters). So I decided to prank my tavern. Lmfao!!! People were not happy with the sound...even better because at that frequency, it's hard to pinpoint it's location (in my coat pocket) .while I watched from outside, via the alarm function. > : ) Then I decided to try it at the dog park while I was walking my pooch. Now she's already heard it, and knows it's coming from me, but the other dogs were freaking out...barking, running incircles, biting the air ect. I didn't do this long, as I did t want to cause them any pain, I just wanted to see what reaction I would get. So I give it 5 stars for a great tool to irritate people (an animals), and for it's ease of use. Suggestions: settings menu to increase the pitch an volume. Ramdomizer so that it squeels at unusual intervals. That would kick azz!

Just set it off next to wife and she immediately said stop whatever I was doing! It took me a couple of seconds to actually notice it but it did eventually hit me. I would describe it as the same sensation you get when your ears ring. Even after shutting it down, you still feel the sensation of hearing it! Very hard to tell where it's coming from, even when the iphone was in my hand. Could easily be used to annoy people around you without ever getting caught!

Ok so I played it through my headphones on a low volume with my hands covering the phones and I had NO problems hearing it. And I'm still hearing it two minutes later. As soon as my dog finds out about this thing, she is going to crap herself. As for people over 30 can't hear this blah blah, first I'm 33 and I hears this just fine. I can also hear the mosquito tone though -- and they're not the same at all. This one is much stronger and I think anybody with hearing above about 12 kHz could hear it. (Mosquito is, I think, 15 kHz.) Second, there are plenty of teachers under 30. So watch out. o_

Emits a very high pitch frequency. Makes some people and animals go nuts, others just ignore it. Due to the ageing ear effect people over 30 have a hard time hearing it. The high frequency is actually louder on earbuds because they have smaller speakers. It is quieter and can even cause damage on larger speakers like the ones built in to the iphone and ipod touch 2g. So only use this app with earbuds. Note: DO NOT UPDATE if you have already dloaded. It just makes annoying ads.

Please allow one relatively serious review coming from greater than a 12 year old... We have come to live in an unfortuneate world full of dipsh*ts and savages with no self-awareness, courtesy or respect for others. The kind of users who would proactively annoy people are just such an example. Alas, in such a world, one must occasionally fight back, and fight annoying, with annoying. This app is perfect in that capacity. I have now pulled this out 4 times when some twit was gabbing incessantly on her cell phone by me. On every occasion, the person either left my vicinity, or hung up the phone. One girl sitting next to me on a Muni bus actually described the sound and said "I can't think of what I'm saying...I'll have to call you back when I'm off re bus." Exactly the response I was looking for. So I'd beg users to adopt the call for grown-up civility in this world...but when all else fails, do what you gotta do to teach a bad person a lesson.

Its a cool app and all but I was kinda hopen for an explosion, not the high pitch sound you get on your phone to annoy everyone. it's still a cool app but it would be much cooler if their was a option for different sounds,perferably explosions. It would be funny to scary someone sleeping or something with this app if it had a nice BOOM!!! sound to it. bottom line MAKE AN OPTION FOR SOME EXPLOSION SOUNDS!!! thank you.
