This is a handy app, probably the most useful one I have. Just right now I was writing thank you cards, and several times I went to this app & discovered a few words I thought were correct actually were not. I am a public school teacher, so a lot of my need to spell correctly is not for word processing or emails, but for quick notes I send home and for handwritten progress report comments and goal-setting forms. My phone is always within reach, so using this app is much more convenient than looking up a word on the computer or using an actual dictionary. I thought I was a pretty good speller, but I guess even teachers can improve, and this app has been very helpful. I also think the Speller program has better word suggestions by far than the built in spell checkers for most word processing programs. The few times I have been way off in the 2nd or 3rd letter in a long word, this app somehow still figures out what I meant and offers me the correct spelling (when most spell checkers would not). I like it so much better than my computer's word processing and email spell checks, that now I keep my iPhone next to me when at the computer, and use this instead. I also like that it doesn't require an online connection to work. The google feature (which I'm sure is online) is fine, but I never use it. I just need to check word spellings, and it is so perfect for that! Coworkers have borrowed it too and also love it. I can't believe this is free! It is worth at least $2.00. It is fast, easy, has a great user interface, is accurate and oh so useful. Not only should every teacher get this, but I also think it would be a great "mom app," as I cannot tell you how many mispelled words I have encountered in notes to the teacher (me) from the parents. Anyone who has occassion to produce handwritten notes needs this. It is so cool to have a speedy, accurate spell checker in the palm of my hand, that will go anywhere with me. A program like Speller is why I bought my iPhone! Developers: don't change a thing!

I'm n love with this app... I would say this is the app I use most often.... I wish I could access :-/ it whenever my keypad popped up... I love it!! Plus.. No bugs!!

I totally agree this app.is a most for the masses. Even if you think your spelling is great doesn't hurt to check. The spell check is quick...& I love that they have even thrown in examples of how to use the word in a sentence correctly.
