Best weather App By: The k cartel - May 13, 2009 Version: 1.2 Besides doing what all the other Apps do, this app provides pictures but most importantly provided hourly n overall descriptions of the conditions ( most apps don't.... They'll show a sun a cloud n rain drops.... Great). This app shows u that n provides a description ( sunny around 60 with a 20% chance of rain clearing up in the afternoon with 5 mph winds). Awesome app, love it. Also has video. Goodluck
I was able to re-install older version By: pogdaddle - May 5, 2009 Version: 1.2 I found three previous versions of WeatherBug, still in my Mobile Applications folder in iTunes. I deleted the 1.2 version from that folder, then drag-and-dropped WeatherBug 1.1.1 onto the iTunes icon to re-install it there. I got a message from iTunes stating that I had a newer version installed and did I want to replace that with the older version. Clicked OK. Deleted the new version from the iPhone and reinstalled the older version synching with iTunes. AppStore keeps pestering me about upgrading...love the app and will pay 99 cents for the elite version - maybe...
Great for my needs/wants By: The Real Grammar Police - Jan 4, 2009 Version: 1.1 I live in a rural area, and often times weather apps focus on the larger populations, and often inaccurate for my area. Fortunately for me, there is a weather station for this app within a mile and a half of my house. The output appears to be simple, accurate, and frequently updated (every 5 seconds). I really appreciate the fact I am able to access the correct weather conditions that are always up to date, just by turning on the ipod touch. I am way too lazy to go outside and see what the weather is for myself. 3 suggestions for future releases, though: 1) While I like the overall simplicity, it would be nice to have a little bit more data to peer over, such as barometric pressure. 2) Reduce the size of, or allow temporary hiding of the menu/title bars. They take up 1/4 or 1/3 of the page that could be displaying either more data, or in larger font. 3) Disable sleeping, in case I just want to keep an eye on it for awhile. What can I say, it fascinates me and I just like to look at it frequently. Thanks!

Great, simple interface. But glitchy By: FunFred - Jan 2, 2009 Version: 1.1.1 I love this app. It is the first one I go to for a quick look at the weather. However, it is somewhat glitchy. For instance, many times it will not update the day if you haven't looked at it for a while. Perhaps it feels neglected or perhaps it is just a glitch. Either way, it is quite frustrating. Glitchiness aside, the interface is great. Not as detailed as The Weather Channel app, but also no ads and a much better interface.
Great upgrade By: Jaxthekat - Apr 27, 2009 Version: 1.1.1 I had originally downloaded the 1.0 version and was seriously underwhelmed with it. I ended up downloading anouther weather app and found that one to be more useful, even though I was never quite happy with either. However, since the new update version has come out, I've found this one to be a truly amazing weather app. It's exactly what I wanted it to be. I'm still currently using the free version, and am more than tickled pink with it's performance. Reading previous reviews, I've noticed a lot of people whining about the ads, but I've never noticed them. I couldn't even tell you where they are on the page. I fail to understand as well the additional complaints of losing certain functions. I can't think of a single function I've lost since the upgrade. All I can see are the amazing improvements. I highly recommend this app to anyone.
BEST WEATHER APP, don't be fooled by the people who are biased and think everything should be free By: sting7k - Apr 25, 2009 Version: 1.1.1 This is by far my favorite weather app for the iPhone. It updates quickly, you can switch locations easily, and you can pick from actual weather stations (thousands of them) to get one that is often less than a mile from your home instead of just a general city forecast/conditions. The radar works great, looks good, and loads fast. Now has 7 day and hourly forecasts. Update v1.2, I am not sure what everyone's problem is with this update. But it has made the app much better, I don't see any lost features but I see more radar views, 7 day and hourly forecasts, and free weather alerts. My biggest issue was the subscription to get weather alerts is gone. The app is ad supported now, like TWC and thousands of other top apps in the app store; get over it. The map/radar issue is also pure bias and hate against Microsoft and is uncalled for. MS Virtual Earth is not degraded or lesser than the holy Google Maps, it's actually better if you try it out. I moved into a brand new house 1 month ago that was just built. One week after the road was officially turned over to the county/state my address was on MS Virtual Earth; it has yet to appear on Google Maps and in fact their map of my community is very out dated. If you can't deal with the ads WeatherBug now offers a paid version of this app. It's exactly the same but with no ads and I think lets you have ulimited locations and a few other things. Don't listen to the unfounded hate on the ads and MS Maps, try it for youself and you will see this is hands down the best weather app in the App Store. Also, it has not crashed my iPhone once.
Love it! By: High altitude - Jul 2, 2009 Version: 1.2 The 6 day forecast, hour by hour forecast, active alerts, and ability to change between cities are great! I usually get the active alerts on this app before my TV. It is great to have during tornado season. Note to other reviewers: Make sure you know how to use the app before you write a review. Follow the arrows to the right and icons at the bottom of the app for more info. I hope you did not write reviews on other apps you did not know how to use and caused others not to buy.
Great Application By: D8579 - Jul 19, 2008 Version: 1.0 First of all, I don't think people realize that there are so many apps that we can get for free here. I greatly appreciate that they are -- so thank you. Second, this app works great on my iphone. I love the video cam to view current weather, the radar and of course a look at the weather for the week, day AND night. The fact that this app is so detailed is great! I'm so sorry that some people aren't having good luck with it. I love it!
Much improved and must have weather app By: majorgearhead - Dec 11, 2008 Version: 1.1 I downloaded this app when it first came out and finally got so sick of the bugs that I deleted it. Today I really needed expanded weather info so I re-downloaded it. Much to my surprise all of the things I had issues with seem to be fixed. I can now track 10 stations and switching between station is really easy. I just love the automatic location finding on the radar map. All in all this is the must have weather app on the iPhone. Can't wait for moving radar coming soon.

Solid app, and a great value for free By: SwampThingTom - Jun 16, 2009 Version: 1.2 First, the good. This is much better than the default Yahoo Weather app on the iPhone. It's easy to use and provides a three day forecast with much more information than the default Weather app. The ability to see local webcams is a very nice bonus. Some improvements that would be nice to see: * As others have said, the radar starts zoomed all the way out so it shows the entire US instead of just the local region. It would be nice for it to zoom in to the current location. * Not having an option for metric is an obvious oversight. * The "Videos" tab shown in the screenshot for the app does not exist in the actual application. I don't know if this is coming in an update but it doesn't exist for now so it should be removed from the screenshot until it does. Overall, though, this is a great app for free and a no-brainer replacement for the iPhone's built-in Weather app.
NeverStopExploring By: Chris Karma - Aug 25, 2008 Version: 1.0 WOAH! This App is so awesome!!! I travel quite a bit, and I have always used WeatherBug.com on my laptop when I'm at my destination to check the local weather - but now to have this application on my iPhone is amazing. Since I also do a lot of outdoor activities, this application will actually give you an up to date photo of the place - that is irreplaceable, I can’t begin to tell you how valuable that will be! DOWN LOAD THIS APP!!!! It’s awesome - if it wasn't, I wouldn’t have taken the time to brag on this app, and give it 5 STARS!!!!
The best free Weather app there is... By: ashley7673 - Apr 21, 2009 Version: 1.1.1 WeatherBug. Hands down the best free, and better than most paid apps too, weather app there is. I use it frequently to check current conditions, for any weather alerts and for day and evening conditions so that I can plan my outside activities. I also use it to keep notified of the weather where other family members live in different states. I like to know if my parents have thawed out yet from the latest winter blast. WeatherBug has a number of nice features. The radar gives one a nice overview of the current area and is nicely zoomable by tapping or pinching as it should be. The cameras show one a number of web cams close to one's current location. The WeatherBug video isn't too bad. It's a general weather video about conditions throughout the United States. I occasionally watch it just to see how things look throughout in the US. Here's hoping to see some fresh features for WeatherBug in an update soon. But, until then, it's one of the best weather apps there is. And, in my opinion, the best free weather app on iTunes.
My favorite weather app By: Frewsimer - Sep 22, 2009 Version: 1.2 This has become my favorite weather app, out of several I have tried. What do I like best about it? Most importantly, it's weather information is just more accurate. Other apps I've tried are off on the temperature by around two degrees (usually two degrees under). Weatherbug gets it pretty much spot on. On top of that, I love the radar map, and the "camera" of current weather, from a camera at a school just a few blocks from my apartment. I've actually been thinking about getting the elite version, but I'm not clear about extra features included besides being ad-free, so I'll stick with this for now. It's a good app.
Best weather app By: Mrcantu - Apr 17, 2009 Version: 1.1.1 I've been using this app for a while now, and I tell you what, this is what the native weather app should of look and definitely been like for the iPhone, I just simply and totally dislike the weather app that comes in the iPhone OS, weatherbug provides so much better info, it tells u the estimate chances of rain! Does the native app do that? NO it doesn't. You simply can't go wrong with this app and best of all it's free!!!
Thank you for creating such a good app.
Utter rubbish By: Helmut von Lichtenstein - Aug 15, 2008 Version: 1.2 Glad this programme is free. I never was a fan of their computer program to begin with, I am set to a certain school in my neighbourhood and it instead goes to one several kilometres away. And there is no option to use metric. Like it or not, the US ratitifed into law the metric system in the 1800s! Then again in the 1970s! Radar is wishy washy at best, doesn't remember location. Has no satellite, nothing useful at all. This is still in v1.0. When the heck will the next update be out?
